  • Audience, targeting, and engagement metrics

We only request the minimum data necessary to deliver reporting, analysis, and automation services.

Important:

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
  • We do not store or retain data from connected accounts longer than needed for service functionality.
  • If you disconnect an integration or delete your MarkBase account, all associated data is permanently deleted.

c. Communication and Support Data

If you contact us via chat, email, or forms, we may collect:

  • Your name, contact information, and the content of your message.
    This data is used to respond to inquiries and provide customer support.

2. How We Use Data

We use collected data only to:

  • Provide and maintain the MarkBase platform
  • Display performance analytics and marketing insights
  • Deliver AI-powered responses and strategy recommendations
  • Send system updates, alerts, or billing notices
  • Ensure compliance with third-party API terms (e.g., Google, LinkedIn, Meta)

We never use your connected data for advertising or profiling outside your account.

3. Third-Party Integrations

MarkBase connects to third-party platforms via secure OAuth authentication.
We access data only within the permissions you grant, as required to provide the following services:

  • Contact discovery and email outreach (via verified business data partners)

All integrations comply with the privacy and platform policies of:

  • SEMrush API and other approved data partners

Your continued use of these integrations remains subject to the respective providers’ Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

  • Encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Strict access controls and role-based permissions

5. AI Features

MarkBase uses artificial intelligence to analyze data and generate insights.

  • AI queries are processed in real time and are not stored, shared, or reused for model training.
  • Data from connected platforms is processed only for the purpose of generating the requested analytics, recommendations, or communications.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:

  • All connected platforms are disconnected
  • All stored data is permanently erased within 30 days
  • Backups are automatically purged within 90 days

We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill our service obligations or comply with applicable laws.

7. Your Rights

California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we collect and how it’s used
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of any data sale (MarkBase does not sell data)

EU Residents (GDPR)

MarkBase is intended for professional and business use only.
